The top panel is suppose to be a direct comparison from the last panel of the previous page. Like a before and after. This event has been mentioned before at the end of Chapter 1! It's been a while since I talked about it a lot but Lilith is from Caffenson; as shown her wanted poster. Also it has been AGES since I drew some nice plant life. I miss doing that.
You might be wondering how a single nuke could end a war. It was set off during the day, with no warning, taking out most of the government leaders. Of course things aren't that simple, which is why they're still getting resistance after 10 years of time.
EDIT: 9/1/2020: fixed almost every text bubble for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and strange language. The meaning behind the bubbles should still be the same but they should be less ambiguous.
You'll want to (have an editor) look at the text, for I have trouble working out what is what, who is doing what, and who is supposed to be winning or losing.
Regarding spelling, I'd write "front line", and I think you ment to say "there are still holdouts". And what is an "orphage"?
Yeah that's what I get for rushing the pages lately. I need to actually focus on the writing as it looks sloppy and needs to be fixed; way too many typos and strange English. Hopefully I fixed most of the problems. At first I thought that it was hard to read because I was references bits and pieces of information hidden throughout the comic. Nawh, it was clumsy writing. My mistake. Thanks for helping me fix it!
Okay, so Raph and Cyris work for Zyamin. His nosiness makes sense, now. i thought he was just the government official who paid the bounty money to freelance bounty hunters.
Not only do they work for him, though Raph and Cyris are no longer military, but they have a serious background with him too. When he first appeared I did want it to be a bit hard to figure out his relation with the two. He spoke like he knew them well but also authoritative, demeaning. Plus that was why he was so caught off guard by Raph's 'do you have a warrant?' when he tried to search the truck. It was like your friend looking to put their coat in the closet and you suddenly shouted "NOT THAT CLOSET."
